Premier Minerals Limited (Premier) is an Asian focused resources company with a portfolio of mineral exploration and development projects in Bangladesh and Australia. The Premier Group believes that its Bangladesh resource is one of the world’s largest leases areas for mineral sands, approximately 24,000 hectares in area, and containing high grade heavy minerals such as zircon and rutile, potentially, of concentration superior to other mineral sands areas.
The group’s Australian resource is a hard rock industrial mineral deposit, consisting of pure rutile contained in feldspar, with an inferred JORC resource of 3.5 MT at a 2% cut-off grade, yielding some 96,000 tonnes rutile.
Premier has other exploration prospects in Queensland and New South Wales, including gold and base metals of copper, silver, lead, zinc and antimony, molybdenum and tungsten.
